Our story

The Podcast

Creative Companion started as a podcast for the creatives in all stages of artistic exploration. The main focus is to talk about discovering inspiration, stepping through the creative process, turning passions into careers, and finding joy in simply creating.

Pausing to Let Life Happen

I took a break from the podcast and basically all things creative when I had a baby. Sometimes life has a way of keeping us busy. But I never lost the desire to come back to the hobbies I love and create just for myself again.

Creating Everyday

Then we took things to social media to build more of a community of other creatives or aspiring creatives, and I gave myself a reason to create everyday. Sometimes showing up for yourself is half the battle and we need that gentle push to make time for ourselves and the things that fill our lives with joy.

Creating the Mail Club & Print Shop

When I started Creative Companion, I had not intended to have a full print shop or really sell my work at all. But as I've found my creative flow and inspiration again, so too I've found a renewed passion in wanting to create something bigger than myself. The Mail Club has allowed me to find kindred creatives all over the world and connect over this shared love of art and creating together.
